The autumn season is a busy, intense time for everyone… A hectic trade show programme is scheduled in the second half of the year, from blockbusters such as SIAL and the Paris Motor Show to new events like the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE).
Amid this maelstrom of activity within a fast-moving industry, we all appreciate having time to pause and reflect, which is why we’re continuing to hold think-tanks with some twenty exhibition managers who are increasingly keen to take part in these brainstorming sessions. They are also an opportunity to open up channels of communication between organisers on the subject of international promotion.
On 27 October we shall also be presenting a study on the German exhibition industry, carried out by Dominique Cherpin and his team, funded jointly with Paris Region Entreprises (PRE). The study looks at the current state of the German exhibition sector – with shows held both in Germany and worldwide (some 300 shows are organised outside Germany), how they have developed since 2008 and the forecast for the future.
Wishing you all a great autumn!
