After touting the merits of social media and a web presence for each local office, Promosalons is about to roll out its own brand new website, with a more streamlined design and clearer organisation.
Promosalons is committed to making full use of digital media. We have revamped our website to give users quick, easy access to the information they need.
This is how the new Promosalons website came about. We wanted to give our member exhibitions better visibility and visitors to the site more comprehensive information.
And a new site obviously calls for new functionalities.
Since Italy accounts for the greatest number of visitors at French trade shows, Promosalons decided to add Italian to the existing language versions (English and Spanish) so as to reach a wider international audience.
New search engine:
It is now possible to search the Promosalons website for details of its 80 member exhibitions by sector, exhibition venue, organiser and keyword.
The exhibition fact sheets are more comprehensive, including a list of the sectors represented, visitor profile, a video play button and Twitter or Facebook widget for the event.
A country file for each local office:
The Promosalons directory sent out to our members at the beginning of the year has always been popular because it’s practical. The information now appears on the website so that it can be updated more frequently.
Additional websites for local offices:
In addition to the 30 websites already set up by the international offices, 17 additional countries now have a website in their own language, with a local URL to improve organic indexing.
Network news blog:
In order to make the Promosalons website more dynamic and current, the articles in La Lettre Promosalons are posted online in the “Info Blog” section, which will be supplemented with articles featuring news from our network and partners.
