QQuality, taste, know-how, terroir, innovation and networking in a friendly atmosphere are the watchwords that best define the exhibition. The visitors (cheese and dairy shops, delicatessens, restaurants, importers, wholesalers, etc.) come to meet their suppliers (cheese and dairy producers, manufacturers of machinery and equipment for cheese and dairy product production), see and sample new products or attend one of the many special events.
At the 13th Cheese and Dairy Products Show in 2014, on the theme ‘Milk in all its forms’, 165 exhibitors from 13 countries – 23% international, 34% first-time exhibitors – welcomed more than 6,300 trade visitors – 17% international from 54 countries. The number of visitors was up 5.5% compared with the previous session.
The four days of the show were enlivened by a varied programme of events and specialist areas, including the Lyre d’Or competition, Dairy Products area, Experts area, Alliances Insolites and the Librairie Gourmande bookshop.
