As 2014 draws to a close, it’s time to look back at some of the year’s highlights.
A record year for the number of trade shows promoted, both in France and around the globe where we support our member exhibitions’ development. Over 80 trade shows now use Promosalons’ services, more than twenty of them events that are replicated on different continents.
It’s time for surveys … and for analysis - with input from the entire Promosalons network - of the international benchmark study of the trade fair and congress market carried by the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with around ten partners. This major study involved interviewing some 1400 exhibitors in 20 countries and around 30 of the main industry associations … And there is also the study of German trade shows conducted by Promosalons Germany, which is a widely used observation tool.
It’s time for dialogue, with the setting up of a Think Tank on strategies for international promotion, in which 25 teams from the trade shows took part, as well as around ten delegations.
It’s also time for collective promotion: with the help of our members and partners we are launching a complete presentation kit of international trade shows in France. Within the next few days Promosalons will be distributing this kit in 123 countries via the French offices and main institutional partners who will send it to the institutions and press partners in the countries where we have offices.
This energy, this passion for the French international trade shows is shared by every one of the 120 Promosalons staff around the world and at our head office!
