The 2012 session of INTERMAT, the International Exhibition of Equipment and Techniques for the Construction and Building Materials Industry, will take place 16–21 April in Paris.
INTERMAT 2012, France’s biggest exhibition, will draw international exhibitors from across the industry and visitors from all over the world. Since its debut in 1988, INTERMAT has always been known for its innovative approach and outstanding programme of events promoting the construction equipment industry and the building sector, and this year will be no exception. Highlights of the exhibition include Pre-INTERMAT Prestige, the Innovation Awards and Paris Demo.
From 16–21 April, some 200,000 visitors – 35% of them international – will be flocking to the event, which will occupy 375,000m2 at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, a 30,000m2 outside demonstration area, Paris Démo, (double the size of 2009), which was a huge success last time. The show will be hosting 1,500 exhibitors (67% international), plus 7 national and regional pavilions – China, Korea, Finland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Spain and the USA, making INTERMAT more international than ever.
